CLASSROOM LEARNING
Learning outcomes can be affected by many factors such as motivation, commitment, learning style, curriculum, etc. However, most of our learners are able to perform the communication tasks specified in the Mandarin Proficiency Profile listed here.

This is an introduction to Mandarin. Learners will be able to perform in a very limited capacity within the most immediate, predictable areas of need, using essentially conversational Chinese.

Topics include:

  • Talk about money, numbers and dates
  • Receive visitors
  • Introduce yourself in social or business settings
  • Express basic opinions, likes and dislikes
  • Asking and telling time
  • Recognize up to 250 Chinese words

ONLINE LEARNING

New Concept Mandarin's Instructor-Led Online Course is an Online Chinese Tutoring Program. It offers private tuition of our online courses with a Professional Instructor.

IMMERSION PROGRAM

The Mandarin Immersion Program (MIP) provided by New Concept Mandarin is the most effective way to learn Mandarin! It is designed to help you to communicate in Mandarin as rapidly as possible. The program allows you to immerse yourself in real life experiences that require you to utilize and develop your Mandarin communication skills through authentic daily practice and activities.

Different from a traditional classroom course model, in our Mandarin Immersion Program (MIP) you learn to manage daily communication in Mandarin much as you would in the real world. You have the great opportunity to discover the local Chinese people and Chinese culture during the learning process. Instructors and staff from New Concept Mandarin are dedicated to supporting you through the whole learning experience. We teach you to communicate comfortably in practical daily interactions.
